The world famous drinking game, now in a classy wooden version!
For over two hundred years, this game has been popular among French sailors, and has spread to many port cities throughout the world.
The game begins by having all of the wooden pieces showing numbers. Each player throws the dice and turns over, or "shuts", the pieces that equal the sum shown on the dice. The turn ends when the player cannot shut anymore pieces after throwing the dice. The sum on the remaining, numbered pieces is recorded, and players leave the game (or drink...) when they reach 45 points.
Can be played as a drinking game, a betting game, or a children's game teaching basic math skills- can also be played using subtraction, multiplication, and division.
