An even more challenging variation on the classic favorite!
Legend has it that this clever game was invented by a French nobleman imprisoned in the Bastille in the 18th century. Not surprisingly, perhaps, this game enjoys its largest popularity in France.
This version of the game comes with more pieces than the other, more well-known versions, and that changes the rules a bit. Start with a vacant space in the upper left-hand corner of the board. Begin the game by jumping over pegs into vacant spaces using the other pegs. Every peg that is jumped over is removed from the board. The object is to remain with one single peg in the lower right-hand corner of the board.
A most challenging game that comes complete with instructions for 20 additional games!
